Run Regedit and select:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Current\Version\explorer\Desktop\NameSpace.
Click on each of the string of characters in this folder until you see recyle bin in the
right-pane press the del key, and say 'good riddance to bad rubbish'!
Start Regedit go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles. Go to the profile you want to change and the section that has the file location for your mailbox (.PST files) in the right-panel. make the change to file location or name and restart Exchange. Run Regedit.exe once the screen opens, you have two options: 1 You can find the registered owner entery. Double-click on registered owner and in the dialog box that apears, change the Name parameter to yours. Viola! Your Win 95 info should sys now "Licensed to YOur Name Here". 2. Befote you go ahead and delete them, choose or create at least one scheme and save it. open regedit. go to Hkey_current_user\Control Panel\Apperarance\schemes. Select every String and Value on the right pane and delete. but take care: do not delete default. Run 'regedit.exe'. Under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT, expand *, and create a key called shell. Next, Create a key called Open, and edit the string (default) to say C:\windows\notepad.exe %1. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Serup\SoursePath. Right-click on the right-panel and add a new /dword. Name it NoDesktop. Name its value as 1 logoff or re-boot your computer Now all your desktop icons are hidden.
Start Regedit Go To HKEY_Current_User\Software\Microsoft\CurrentVersion\Policies. There should already be at least in Explorer key. To this you can add additional keys like system, network and WinOldApp. YOu can then add DWORD values set to 1 in the appropriate keys. Under the Explorer key you can add: NoDeletePrinter:Disables Deletions of Printers NoAddPrinter: Disables Additons of Printers NoRun : Disable Run Command NoSetFolers: Removes Folders form Setting on Start Menu NoSEtTaskbar : Removes Taskbar form SEtting on Start Menu NoFnind Removes the Find Command NoDrives : Hides all Drives for My Computer NoNetHood: Hides the Network Neighborhood NoDesktop : Hides all items on the Desktop NoClose: Disable Shutdown NoSaveSetting : Don't save setting on exit DisableRegistryTools: Disable Registry Editing Tools (Don't fool around with this one!) NoREcentDocHistory : Removes Recent Document form Start Menu (Requires IE4) ClearRecentDocsOnExit : Clears the Recent Documents when you Exit NoInternetIcon: Removes the Internet icon form the Desktop In the system key you can enter NoDispCPL : Disable Display Control Panel NoDispBackgroundPage : Hide Background Page NoDispScrPage: Hide Screen Saver Page NoDispApperancePage: Hide Apperarance Page NoDispSettingPage Hide SEtting Page NoSecCPL Disable Password Control Panel NoPwdPage Hide Change Password Page NoAdminPage: Hide Remote Administration Page. NoProfilePage: Hide User Pfofile Page NoDevMrgPage Hide Device Manager Page NoConfigPage: Hide Hardware Profiles page NoFileSysPage: Hide File System Buttom NoVirtMemPage Hide Virtual Memory Button In the Network key you can enter: NoNetSetupSecurityPage: Hide NoNetSetup : Disable the Network Control Panel NoNetSetupIDPage : Hide Identification Page NoNetSetupSecurityPage : Hide Access Control Page NoFileSharingControl : Disable File Sharing Controls In the WinOldApp key you cna enter Disable: Disable MS-DOS Prompt NoRealMode: Disabel Single- Mode MS-DOS. |
